When using this tool to remove the copper crimp rings on Pex fittings, it works best if you clip one side, then clip again on the opposite side. Then the crimp ring falls off and you can reuse the fitting.

Naomi: they even work on plastic fittings.

saves money when you need to alter a fitting or screw up. lovethem.

Zen: Not bad. Works but...

Its a little easier the cut off the straps then with electrician plyers but not much. Better off spending the money on a good set of electrical plyers then at lease you have a tool that can do several different jobs instead of just one.

Cynthia Weaver: Did not work

I just got this in so I would not have to throw away my pex ends that I had to cut out and needed to reuse. I tried to use this to cut several different ways and nothing. It will not cut threw the pex clamp. It’s dull and won’t cut threw butter. Waste of time. Now looking again for something to cut the pex clamps
