Courtland Sandberg: replaced a 13" version due to remodel.
The original longer unit was inside a wall the we were enlarging the opening between the rooms.Opened the and here were two tall air-hammer units.Cut them off and used sharkbite connector to attach the new shorter ones.

I have just installed it yesterday and it works. My only complaint is that it would be very hard to remove since I inserted it into a shark tee, and once inserted the arrestor section is almost touching the tee, which would make it hard to remove if you would need to. They should have made the insertion section longer, but it works.
