I love valves, lots of valves. Having lived in homes cheap morons built where if there was a leak in the cold water at the kitchen sink you had to shut off the whole house because there was only one valve, I go overboard now. There is a valve at every hot and every cold water line to each individual fixture and in some cases 2, the little chrome one below the toilet and sinks that often fail in a couple years and don't fully shut off anyway. Now I have plenty of options to shut of one thing and keep everything else on.
